I enjoyed this entire series. Very rare to find a survival story with decent people. I also recommend The Last Tribe by Brad Manuel.

I'm not generally into this type of fantasy type book, but it was a decent read. Not sure if I'll be reading the rest of the series, but I'm glad I did read this one.
Family friendly Science Fiction
Michael Crichton would be proud of M. P. McDonald's Sympatico Syndrome series. Fast paced, believable characters and richly detailed, this story is off to a great start.
