Steven W. Manskar

Manskar has written a very readable introduction to the theology and history of accountable discipleship in the Methodist tradition. He gives biblical, theological and historical explanations that are interesting and easy to read. He focuses on Wesley's formulation of the idea of accountable discipleship in the form of Class leaders. He advocates for a return to this model for continued spiritual growth in the United Methodist Church today.
