Todd F. Lewis

This is a really excellent book at specific counseling theories and how they relate to substance abuse. It is well written and extensively researched, but also has case studies and examples that can really exemplify the subject at hand.

Strongly recommend for anyone starting in the counseling field or getting ready to study for any exams--this holds a good intro/review of many different theories.
