This book describes rather old-fashioned card games not easily found elsewhere. The book concentrates on trick-taking games, with moderately large sections for poker and rummy-style games. Some gambling games and children's games are also included. The highlights of this book are the rules of an old bridge-like Russian/Finnish game Skruuvi, an excellent intoduction to Canasta, and very archaic bidding systems for Contract Bridge.
