OH MY GOSH. I COULDN'T HOLD BACK THE TEARS!! I liked Jonah Goodman and Kelly Shepard's story so much that I can't help but want MORE, MORE, AND MORE!! Part of being a triplet, Jonah knew he couldn't compete with his two smarter brothers and one day after he and Kelly made clumsy love for their first time together, he went to stay with his uncle to learn the business that one day would be his. Kelly cried buckets of tears, but moved on and got married for thirteen years before she divorced Brad and took back her maiden name. Now, she taught school and at her parent's demands to come home for Thanksgiving, she got the shock of her life when she learned that her dad was retiring and wanted her to take over the business when his heir and her brother fled. Things had gone from bad to worse when the only man she ever loved came home too.… (mere)

A good steamy read...
So I was surprised to find that this is not one novel but is actually three novellas put into one book. All of them seem to follow the theme of military personnel with two stories being set in the Navy and one story being in the Marines.
These stories were written very well but honestly there isn't much of a story outside of the bedroom. There is definitely a lot of detail there. However the first two stories really do pull you in and take you for a ride. For being novellas, they were written in such a way that they were able to tug on your heartstrings just enough to make you care about what happened to the characters.
The characters also had a very good dynamic to them. They were very well fleshed out and the back stories were very nicely written throughout each story. This is something that is indeed rare to find in novellas.
In my opinion however, the first two stories were far superior to the third. Maybe that's because I found the main character to be more than just a brat... nevertheless, I liked the first two stories better.
My favorite story was Anchor Home as I am a total sucker for second chance romance. This really resonated with me because my husband and I are actually a second chance romance. So the story really hit home for me.
This is one of those books that you curl up with and let it give you ideas for later 😉
I would definitely recommend this book to those who are looking for a nice, chilled out romance type book.

Daniel is one of three identical triplets. A rare bird indeed. When his perfect world is disrupted by a steamy exotic dancer he has to make a choice between his cut and dry world and the woman he is drawn to like a moth to the flame.
This book was definitely not my type of book. I found the beginning of this book to be absolutely so dry and boring that a damn near brought me to tears. But here's the thing, this book is actually written from Daniel's point of view. Writing a romance novel from the male's point of view is something very daring and definitely difficult for a female author to pull off correctly. This author has done just that! The reason why the beginning was so boring is because they are literally sitting around talking about sports, NASCAR and strippers. And the realism that I felt while reading the beginning of the story put me right into the conversation with them. Which if I was sitting in the conversation with them in real life I would definitely be bored to tears. So bravo to the author for bringing to the table such realism! 👏👏👏 I found that truly amazing.
The other problem that I had with this book was the premise was so cliche that it was painful for me. It's the whole "I don't approve of what my parents do but I'm going to follow exactly in their footsteps anyway" sort of story. But again with the realism, this is exactly how life plays out in real time.
One more thing I didn't like but I'm sure it's coming in future books, is that I would really like to get to know the brothers a little bit more and I'm very sad that we didn't get to see their parent's wedding. I would have liked to see that since they made such a big fuss over it in the beginning.
The romance part of it is written very well. As is the rest of the book which is why I'm not giving this a lower rating. I very much commend this author for her writing style and the way she is able to bring true life into a fictional tale. I can see that others would really enjoy this book, it's just not one for me personally.
So with that being said, I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance with a lot of realism worked into the story.
