The Future Shape of Ministry: A Theological Projection af Urban Tigner Holmes
This was one of the assigned texts when I studied to become an Episcopal Priest at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley CA. At the time I thought that Urban Holmes vision of a future Church was limited. I realized that society was changing so fast that nobody understood where the Church or society would be in the future. That is still true, but Holmes should get some credit for a good book for the time.
Brilliant in spots -- and dense and hard to navigate in others.
A very helpful introduction to Christian spirituality and the personality traits of persons that influence our growth in faith.
