This book puts a large emphasis on look = love where all the women are dolled up in some way to look better. Even the girl who looks masculine has to "bloom into a woman" before she gets to go with her guy.
Lest to say there's some transphobia in that story. I KIND OF did like that the result of the fat girl was just to love what your doing and love yourself. However that one really didn't change my like for this book. The end one was just gawd awful with her getting with the guy who compared her to his dog. Like that whole chapter is "don't fucking trust men they are shit" and in the end she goes with him anyways.… (mere)
