This book is so encouraging to younger girls. It is another side of history that is not normally told.

Julia Child had a good education and she wanted to be an author. Although none of her short plays got published , after marriage she moved to Paris with her husband for a while, where she attended cooking school and mastered the art of French cooking. She brought French cooking to the Americans and hosted a famous cooking show for several years and was the author of her famous cook “Mastering The Art of French Cuisine”

This book is about Julia Child. While I appreciate her amazing life story and this illustrations were rather photo realistic, I thought the story was bland and lacked interest. I found my mind wondering much during the reading. I would look for other means to research Julia Child's life and importance on cooking cuisine.
