Enjoyable recap to the Dark Tower series. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the language King made up for this alternate reality. Great artwork.

I don't know if it's fair to say I read it, since I didn't go straight through, but I spent several days with this in lieu of actually rereading the series. Man, this series is kind of goofy. So is the guide to it.

A great start to the next leg of the Gunslinger's journey through life and Mid-World. The art continues to be top notch, and the story keeps my attention. Keep 'em coming!

Despite the cover, the addition of Cort's niece as a possible future gunslinger is a very small plot. It adds shading to what's going on, but doesn't seem to derail or shift anything major. That made me very happy. Treachery is the perfect name for all that's going on. You really begin to see the death of Mid-World at this point... it made me just as sad and frustrated as it did when I read the novels. Four stars!
