The baskeball stories did not pique my interest but the rest of the stories are great. This book might be about Ohio Appalachia but it could just as well be about the little corner of Tennessee/Georgia/North Carolina where my parents were raised. Greasy Ridge could just as easily be Grassy Creek, Staffordtown, or Deal Hollow. The book took me back to my earliest memories of trip 'down home' with my parents to visit family.
