It's 2014, and we're bringing back the Pajama Party on the Trolley. After all, it's the best party in the Twin Cities! Put on your PJ's and come party with our special guest author Debra Frasier on Thursday, June 19th at 6PM & 7PM. The ticket lottery is now closed. Winners will be announced on Thursday, June 12th. Here's the rundown: 1. You show up at the trolley station in your pajamas. (It is a PJ Party, after all.) 2. You are served cookies and milk on the station platform. Yum! 3. All aboard the trolley! 4. After a fun ride, we stop in a quiet spot. While still on the trolley, our guest autho Debra Frasier reads some bedtime stories. 5. More trolley riding back to the station! How to Get Tickets: Tickets are $5, and this year, we're doing a lottery! The lottery will be open from Monday, June 2nd at 10AM through Monday, June 9th at 8PM. Visit here again during that time to put your name in the hat. We'll also send an email reminder with links to the lottery on Monday, June 9th, so sign up for our email list below to make sure you don't forget to register. On Thursday, June 12th we'll notify the winners. Winners will have until Monday, June 16th at 5PM to pick up and pay for tickets. After that, we'll draw from the hat again for any unclaimed tickets. Tickets are $5 each and must be paid for with cash or check made out to the Minnesota Streetcar Museum. You will need tickets for adults and children over one year. Put on your jammies and come to the trolley for a special nighttime ride. First, we'll have milk and cookies at the Linden Hills Station by Lake Harriet. Next, we'll board the trolley and ride over to Lake Calhoun, where we'll stop for bedtime stories before riding back. Debra Frasier, author of the brand spanking new (and timely) A Fabulous Fair Alphabet, will be our guest storyteller There will be two rides, the first at 6:30 and the second at 7:30PM. Tickets are $5 and will be available at Wild Rumpus by phone only on Monday, July 5 at 5:30 PM. HOW TO GET YOUR TICKET: Tickets will go on sale on Monday, July 5 at 5:30 PM. Tickets can be reserved by phone only (612-920-5005). Please keep in mind that we only have two phone lines, so you may get a busy signal or our voicemail. Keep trying! We can't take voice mail messages because it just doesn't work. There is a five ticket max per purchase. Tickets must be picked up within five days (i.e. by Saturday, July 10 if you reserve them on Monday) and paid for with cash or check, or they will go to the next person on the waiting list. This has been a very popular event and we want to try to keep everyone happy! This PJ Party is a joint event with the Minnesota Streetcar Museum.
