Though this looks like a cute little coffee table book, and it is, it's also a surprisingly informative overview of, well, cats, as depicted on historical quilts. A number of time periods and quilt styles are represented and the text is useful and informative.

This book covers quilts brought to or made in Nebraska, during the 19th or early 20th century, and presented at an exhibit at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The text is not particularly informative, but the book has large size illustrations of some wonderful quilts not previously published.
