The story describes the complex issues in being Guinevere, the Queen. Her previous alliances, her enemies, her days as Queen, are all intricately woven with the human person. This was an interesting and in-depth analysis of what is arguably one of the most popular shows in TV history. Even today, you can hear it referenced. I was intrigued when I read the blurb, and it's made me want to go back and watch the show, which I never really got into when it was airing. (But I may have been in the wrong age range for the target audience back then). I greatly appreciate that Evelina looks at both the positives and negatives of the show, not shying away from critiquing as much as praising.
