It took a bit for me to get into this book – it starts out slowly and introduces a lot of characters who I had trouble getting straight – but once I did, I had a hard time putting it down. It was refreshing to read about a female assassin who wasn’t gorgeous, a villain who wasn’t totally evil, and a touch of romance that didn’t lead to sex. All that, excellent character development, and a complex plot made this book a winner!

You’ll have to read this well-written book to learn if VIRUS succeeded in upending the world order, resulting in anarchy such as the world had never seen. It will keep you in suspense as Halo (aka Alice) and Xavier chase after the villain throughout Europe. I’ll be looking forward to reading another book by these authors. Recommended!… (mere)
