The Amish Prodigal Son by Ashley Emma is book five in The Amish Bible Story Series. This is a series that modernizes parts in the Bible. They are stand alone stories that teach good lessons. This story shows how following your dreams affects so many people other than yourself. It also shows the hurt that others experience when truthful communication doesn’t take place. I enjoyed the characters of Theo and Evelyn. I admired Evelyn for waiting so long for him to return. Theo’s parents are very remarkable, with how he just left and did not stay in contact with them. Yet, when he returned home, they welcomed him and rejoiced in his return.

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book, this is my honest review.

This book was a clean Amish read. The book was more about the "English" side rather than the Amish as it featured a young woman who had been badly injured and aside from the obvious physical injuries also suffered from a serious case of amnesia. Staying with Jeff, whose occupation was in law enforcement and his sister while she struggles to regain her memories, there are more attempts at her life and safety.
The story is engaging and enjoyable and you come to really like the characters that are in this story.

I was somewhat able to relate to the amnesia as I had a slight case of it, wherein I was unable to recall the accident I was in and the frustration that brings with it.

I love Amish stories and this story by Jennifer Beckstrand did not disappoint. I love the mischievous Amish twins, Alfie and Benji, who are always good at those necessary matchmaker needs. If love doesn't go as it should, you can be sure twins are on it! True to form, a fun and sweet Amish romance as told by Jennifer Beckstrand.
This story was one of ten delightful Christmas Miracle stories and so fun. A second chance for Jerry and Mary. Will the twins succeed in their sneaky plans or get themselves in trouble, as usual!

Truly a sweet and tender story mixed with some humor. Although I am reading it after the holidays, it is every bit as good as before. I recommend these sweet stories and hope you take the time to read them!

I received an ebook copy from one of the authors with no expectation of a positive review. All thoughts are my own.

Abraham and Sarah's Amish Baby, by Ashley Emma, is the first book in The Amish Bible Story Series. This is a modern day twist on the Bible story of Sarah and Abraham. This couple marry later in life and are unable to have a baby. When one just shows up at their door they keep the child and raise him as their own.
This is a nicely written, quick to read story. I enjoyed reading this story and reading how the couple dealt with the loss of their parents and constant let down of miscarriages and failed adoptions. This story does point out how far someone would go to get what they so desperately want. When the baby is left on their doorstep they did not follow through on legalities, but instead lied to people about the baby. I felt sorry for Sarah and the pain she must have felt with the loss of their parents and and having to move to get away from the memories.
I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this story from the author. This is my honest review.
