While wholly unrealistic, this story was still fun to read. It's definitely space opera, with two powerful organizations fighting each other, and no real explanation of some of the mentioned technology. The battle that ensues while Ham and Nathaniel are on vacation is neither realistic in the way it starts, nor in the timing or way it ends. Not that it matters, it's more of a backdrop to how the characters relate to each other and the secrets they share - or not, as the case may be.

If you like dramatically charged space opera, if you don't mind suspending your disbelief, and if you're looking for a short, fun read, then you will probably enjoy this free shot story.… (mere)
