Excellent book with many fun and educational activities. Would be great for classroom and for homeschool use. Kids will definitely have a good understanding of "Lord of the Flies" if the instruction comes from this book.

This is an awesome classroom resource! Though personally I would never use it as a main resource (only because it doesn't suit my teaching style), it is a great supplementary tool for those who like to make their own lesson plans, and an awesome guide for those who don't feel confident making their own plans. It does a good job of de-mystifying Shakespeare, and the classroom ideas are great! Would definitely recommend.

I am a homeschooling parent of a high-school aged child, and as such I am always searching for materials to help me prepare her for advanced placement exams, the ACT, and, subsequently, college. This book has everything needed to make that happen. It's very thorough, with lots of activities that not only make her think about Lord of the Flies, but give her good practice thinking about other great works as well. I only wish there were more books in this series.
