This really is a board book. The covers look like wood cut in the shape of a rocking horse like the one pictured front and back. Inside, the sturdy pages feature lullabies, although some might consider these to also be nursery rhymes. Included are Baa, Baa, Black Sheep; Hush, Little Baby; Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star; Rock-a-bye Baby; Too-ra-loo-ra-loo ra; Frere Jacques; All the Pretty Little Horses; Wynken, Blynken, and Nod. The illustrations are bright and cheerful.
