A really short and sweetly told historical romance story of friends Rosalie and Harry who risk their friendship when they each decide to confess their secret love for one another while at the annual Christmas party.

I received a free ebook review copy of this book but was under no obligation to post a positive review

Overall rating 5/5 stars.
What a fabulous collection of short and extremely sweet and captivating reads. Each story left me wanting more. Every time I had to put the book down I still kept thinking about how I desperately want to continue reading.
I think that out of all the Timeless volumes I have read so far, this has got to be my favorite one yet.
Every single one of the stories gets 5 stars from me.

On the Duke’s Errand by Rebecca Connelly
5/5 stars
This short tells the story of Ceana Shaw and David Chambers. Ceana is the sole child of a Scottish Baronet and is desperate to prove herself worthy to inherit her fathers’ estate. David, on the other hand, is the third son of the English Duke of Ashcombe, as such, he would only be known as a gentleman and nothing more.
David was sent by his father to Scotland to check on Davonbard, the family’s estate there, and to see what can be done in order to improve its state.
The two meet when David nearly tramples Ceana with his horse on his way to Davonbard. In this brief meeting, Ceana mistakingly gets the impression that David is the Duke of Ashcombe himself.
I absolutely loved this story- I was hooked from the second I started it. I loved how their first meeting reminded me of Jane Eyer’s meeting with Mr. Rochester, only here the angry party was Ceana and not David.
All the characters and plot points were absolutely lovely. It wasn’t just a fun story but also carried some social commentary which I loved. Highly recommended read and a great start to this collection:)

Vingt-et Un/Twenty One by Nichole Van
5/5 stars
Here we meet Elizabeth Mail and Liam Trebor- two childhood friends who grew up sharing every possible secret with one another.
The two insisted on keeping their friendship intact, even though Liam's father, the Duke of Chawton, opposed any kind of connection between his son and anyone inferior by social ranking.
Now after 5 years since they last spoke, they are forced to confront their past regrets, actions, and heartbreak.
I loved everything about this story. I loved the fact that it was told from a present point of view and flashbacks; I loved both Eliza and Liam as individuals and as a couple; I loved how I was always curious to find out what happenקd 5 years ago.
But most of all, I loved how the story captivated me כrom the start.
Highly recommended!

I Kissed a Duke by Janelle Daniels
5/5 stars
The last of our three stories follows Madeline Maybury. Madeline comes from a modest family with limited means and is determined to make sure she changes that. She wants to do everything she can in order to take care of her parents. Her goal- find a respectable match and marry someone that will be financially able to support her. Her means- being accepted into a group led by a lady of high ranking in order to gain her sponsorship in society. What Madeline didn't expect was the challenge she would have to complete in order to be accepted- she has to kiss a Duke.
Once again I found myself smiling all the way through reading the story. I loved the banter between Madeline and Ethan- the aforementioned Duke. I loved Madeline's mother and the relationships that were built between the three. Some scenes reminded me of Pride and Prejudice which only made me smile even wider because I am pretty sure it was intentional ;)
Once again highly recommended read :)

I would like to thank Kathy from ebooksforreview for providing me with the opportunity to read and review this wonderful collection.
