A fun and clever adventure/comedy/mythological culture-clash series for anyone who digs Egypt (hurr hurr), or is just familiar with its history and that of the Near East in general. Story references cover quite a few pantheons, historical periods, and even continents, so the well-read history geeks may get more of the in-jokes than the specialists, but it's still a cheeky adventure that anyone can enjoy. There are a few very mild references to sex, some very mild, carefully censored nudity (it is set in ancient Egypt after all), and some religious irreverence (to be expected), but otherwise it should be appropriate for all ages.… (mere)
