Annihilation of Heaven af Colin Chadwick
I love the Soulhunter series, but the book was disappointing. As much as I like to know the back story of what happened to Syalonis. This was too short and not enough. Also I miss Tan, Banta, Jaydee, and all the other "heroes" from the first 3 installments. I need to know what happens and how Tan and his friends win over the fallen angels.

I have read the first two books in the series ( Soulhunters and Angel of Rage), and I plan to read the fourth (Annihilation of Heaven).
I just love this series with its fantasy world, great likable characters, and religious undertones in the plot.
Syalonis is a great goddess who has disappeared. All her angels who were created to protect souls have fallen without her, and must now eat the souls to survive. Tan is her chosen champion, but he has no idea who he really is. He believes himself to be just a human, born into slavery and forced to fight for his life by his masters. Tan makes many friends, and everyone of them has some great talent to help with his mission.
My only issue is with Taus. She is a fallen angel who is on the side of Syalonis, hoping to be restored to full glory. She is thousands of years old, but sometimes her dialog is very immature.… (mere)

I love this series. Tan, Jaycee, Banta, and the Dreadlord are all heroes. Although, Tan is a little reluctant to face the fact. The goddess Syalonis disappeared thousands of years ago, and she is relying on Tan. Many of the angels have turned evil, but there are a few hoping for the goddess' return.
Excellent characters, awesome plot, and so far a perfect execution.

I enjoyed Soulhunters. I found the characters to be likeable. Even the few bad guys in the book, you pitied them rather than disliked them.
Tan is an exceptional being, although he has yet to realize this fact.
I can't wait to read book two in the series.
