Pip and his family move from their old house across town to a new one. But Pip isn’t excited about the new move because he has to leave his best friend Mack behind. However, Pip meets a new friend when he moves into the new house. I like this book because it addresses the difficult experience and transition of moving away that many children face. This would be a good book for a K-1 classroom to discuss family moves and the experience of making new friends.
