Sold into Marriage: One Girl's Living Nightmare af Sean Boyne
A true story account of a 16 year old girl in rural Ireland who was sold into marriage with an old Irish farmer by her father. It was a fascinating story because it is a true story. It is almost unfathomable that this could be happening in Ireland in the 1970s. It was a quick read and I couldn't put it down. However, this book almost seemed like the 1980s talk show where it almost seems like I'm being entertained by someone else's misfortune.
