It walks through each type of eater, such as carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, giving information about what they ate, how they obtained their food, and how we can tell by their fossils what type of eater they were. Drawings with captions give the names of several different members of each category. The book is engaging because it has cute narrators on each page who tell funny jokes.
