Alberto Becattini

An Italian-published biography of the great Milton Caniff, in English and Italian, with a nice selection of Caniff's output, both from his more famous work and his earlier, seldom seen stuff. It also includes a (complete?) list of his published work. The information is fresh and interesting, the reproductions are clear and nicely done, albeit too small for Caniff's detailed work, and if I knew Italian, the Italian text would be a plus. A nice job for the size and price, but really, a giant of Caniff's stature deserves a more ambitious bio.… (mere)
