21) Rurouni Kenshin, Vol. 1 by Nobuhiro Watsuki I've been meaning to collect the manga versions of anime series I like. So far (because of my limited budget) all I've managed to get is this and Dragon Ball Volume 1.
Lots of the people in the anime club at my old high school were into Rurouni Kenshin and Wolf's Rain. Well, this is among other things, but I'm just picking out some of the ones I liked. I also agree with Jencatd about Azumanga Daioh.
... favorites: Berserk, Bleach, Death Note, Evangelion, Eyeshield 21, Hellsing, Monster (Naoki Urasawa's), Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun Maximum. If I had to pick just one, it would be Death Note.
