Bliv medlem af LibraryThing for at finde ud af, om du vil kunne lide denne bog. to be read This is a very long book, that is strangely un-put-downable, as you try to work out what makes the main character tick. I found the ending to be unsatisfying. I had followed Tully's life for nearly 20 years and somehow expected more of a revelation at the end. Simons writes great chicklit: highly readable, painfully truthful. For those of us in the "bright but not gorgeous" category, Tully is the girl we all secretly fear is actually ourself: strange, awkward, somewhat unlikeable with her smart mouth and her many defences against the world. Tully's journey to adulthood is reflected in the eyes of her friends, each of whom is undergoing her own growing-pains. It's a giant doorstopper of a novel; take your time and let the narrative carry you along. her best ever! haunting. no reviews | add a review
