I stopped in tonight (ermmmmmm last night). Rosie said hi. I musta been early. Oh well I kept myself occupied.

An aside: I called my parents to see how my brother and nephew are (swine flu) and started discussing the Series. She's rootin' for the Phillies.

"That's my Mom," I say. "Can't have those Yanks winning now can we?"

No. I'm not rooting against the Yanks. I'm rooting for the Phillies because if the Yanks win tonight the baseball season is over...... Now THAT'S my Mom. The consumate good sport.

I didn't feel so well last night, so I dropped into chat during the second inning, but didn't stay long when no one else showed up. In fact I felt so crappy I went to bed before the game was over so I didn't to see the 'almost' comeback. I feel better this morning and I hope it stays that way.

I'd much rather see the Yankees win at home. I'm selfish that way. Plus, it makes the whole series more interesting. I am not fond of series blowouts.

Of course, I do wish that Clamairy would cast a wish for a home run when the bases are loaded in one of those chatroom discussions. That way, if it turns out that a home run is hit, we can all claim it was because of her wish and say "Grand Slam, Thank You, Clam!"
