Well past time for a new thread.

Everyone welcome.

Rules:

Go to page 22, 44 or 66 of the book you are currently reading.

Pick a random word and offer one word clues for others to try to guess the word you have picked.

The game continues until the passwork is correctly guessed or until 5 new clues have been given. If no one guesses the word, you pass your turn onto the last person who guessed at the clue. You must reveal your password when you pass.

I definitely noticed the pink football players. Ben Roethlisberger looks like even more of a priss with pink shoes. Also the amount of pink drastically reduced as the month went on. I didn't see pink shoes after the first week and only a few of those ridiculous pink brimmed hats.

okt 26, 2009, 2:26pm (top )Message 55: ThrillerFan

#53

Ah, it's nice to be able to make fun of Ben Roethlisberger without getting popped for doing it! I thought the same thing myself. However, any time I make fun of anyone on the Steelers, I get popped one by my wife. In addition, I'm only allowed to pull for the team that is playing against Pittsburgh once every four years. When the Giants play them (and that's partially only because she knows I'd NEVER root against my own team...been a Giants fan since the mid-80's when I was a kid.)

okt 26, 2009, 3:45pm (top )Message 56: DirtPriest

I've been a Browns fan since billy Sims blew his knee out again in '84. Off that Lions bandwagon just in time, I say. The depths of hatred are rarely plumbed to the abyss of a long suffering Browns fan (Art Modell, the Steelers, the Ravens success, Elway, Earnest Byner's fumble, losing to crappy Bengals teams, seeing the Titans wear the old Oilers colors). And I'm wangling a trade for my boys Brandon Jacobs and Wes Welker to bolster my underachieving fantasy team. Now back to your regularly scheduled Password game with your host Tom Kennedy... Clue #3: exiled
Clue #4: person

How in blazes did you get (Jeffrey) Dahmer from that?

nov 19, 2009, 4:14pm (top )Message 200: ThrillerFan

Well, can't use clue 1, I only know it as a verb or adjective.

As a verb, it's to Banish or exile.

He belonged in an Insane Asylum

Exile is to leave one's home or country. Granted, in his case, it may not have been voluntary, as he was arrested.

As sick as he was, he was still a person.

Of course, if you let your mind get even sicker, he was exiled from his home in jail by being killed (hopefully he went to hell and not heaven...otherwise, I'm horsemeat when I get there).

It's a little sick and twisted (That's what I get for reading Horror Novels, Thrillers, and True Crime Novels, a sick and twisted mind), but it's the first thing that came to mind given the handicap of clue 1, so really just used clues 2, 3, and 4.

nov 19, 2009, 4:41pm (top )Message 203: WholeHouseLibrary

Well, the only clue I have left is so obscure, that I doubt anyone would get it anyway.

That clue would have been "Petty".

As in Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had a song with the word in the title.

I'm going to have quite limited access to the Net until Monday, so in the interest of keeping the thread going, the word I was trying to give clues for was:
