Om mig I'm both a writer and a reader. I've been a bookworm since before I could read on my own, and my love for books hasn't diminished as I've gotten older. I've been writing for almost as long as I've been reading.

Om mit bibliotek As you'll see if you browse through my library, I have eclectic taste in books. You could say my tastes are broad, but "narrow but diverse" is probably more accurate. I'm almost finished entering in all my books, though I haven't yet touched the books from my childhood, which are currently stored in boxes in the basement. I usually only enter in books that I've read, and sometimes ones I'm in the process of reading.

I'm keeping track of my reading using tags; a book read in January 2007, for example, will be tagged "2007" and "January 2007." In order to keep track of my reading this way, I've entered in some books that I've borrowed from others; those are tagged "read but not owned." Books tagged "booksfree" are from booksfree.com, a book rental site.

I try to rate most of the books I enter, with the exception of reference books and other anomalies (how on earth do you rate the Bible? Or a dictionary, for that matter?). My ratings aren't based on objective standards of quality, only on how much (or how little) I enjoyed the book.

To see the books I've read most recently, search the tags in my catalog for the current month and year (e.g. "february 2008") or sort my catalog by entry date so the most recent date is at the top.
