Om mit bibliotek All the books here are books I own. Generally my library is a one-way trip for books; they come in and don't go out.

My tastes have evolved a bit over the years. When I was in younger (up to college age), I read a lot of SF and fantasy (still uncatalogued at this point). Once I entered the workforce, my interest turned to technical books. As I matured professionally, it turned to business and team development. Most recently, I'm entering a third phase of my career and doing a bit of a career change. Consequently, I've been collecting more animation and art books. Along the way I also had dalliances with books on Go, chess, films, film-making and writing.

I seem to be entering them somewhat in reverse order. The areas that are left are: books from my childhood (1 shelf), misc overflow shelves (1 shelf), and paperback SF&F (22 shelves, doubled up). I think I've got about seventy percent of my library entered into LT.

I'm kind of dreading the SF&F. Most of it is old enough that there are no bar-codes. A "back of the envelope" calculation (count one shelf and multiply) says I have around 2000. Not looking forward to typing all those ISBNs (and some probably don't even have ISBNs...) Also hoping there will be support for my ACE doubles before I get around to having to figure out how to handle them.

Hi,
I just saw you added my library and after checking your website, I figure there's a good chance we know some of the same people.
I've been at EA (Redwod City) for about seven years and if you're at a game company in the bay area....well....it's a small world.
Hi...one way of quicker book entry is to do a search for said book and see if anyone else has it in their collection, and then add it to your own.
