Om migMy passions in life are travelling and reading as well as cheering for my favourite footy team. I don't own a lot of books but prefer to borrow them from my local public library. I spend my money on travel instead of books. I have a notebook I keep with hundreds of book titles I want to read. I go to bookshops and get the latest catalogues, I keep notepaper in my bag and note down new titles at airports, on the plane, etc......

Om mit bibliotekI like to read a range of genres, but my favourites are Jewish history/ WW2; forensic anthropologist, thrillers, mysteries, medical thrillers, historic romance, general/drama, autobiographies, travel writing, forensic psychologists, etc. I have a number of favourite authors. I don't read fantasy, sci-fi.

Glad you liked it, and I would have loved a sequel also.
I finally finished The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society book, & I really enjoyed it. It had a bit of everything - history, romance etc. Makes me want to find out more about the Channel Islands.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will look out for that author. I am going to read The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society next and always looking out for new books.
Hi Travelbug.....
We share a few common titles... I love travel too, I spent some time travelling around the Middle East, hence the interest in the books. Do you have any you can recommend? I'm generally into non-fiction / autobiography / travel books and sometimes find myself struggling for a new good read. I like your idea for noting down book titles, think I might try this a bit more too...

Thanks!
Have you read Suite Francaise, if not I can recommend it. Its a true story (Jewish Story WWII).
