Thanks a ton for the info!!! Unfortunately I think I'll have to hold off on ordering for a bit. My husband's still not happy that I used part of my work bonus to buy a bunch of anime from AnimeAregato. But, I don't regret it LOL I just wish I had known about this before I spent all my money *sigh* I've seen the first two Tokyo Revelations online and they were sooooo intense!! I might breakdown and get it anyway....(Can't make my mind up within the space of a paragraph) Thanks again!

Hi! I've been looking over our shared books, noticed that you also had a tag for Japanese Imports and hoped you might be able to answer a question for me. I know in November and January something like a periodical, manga or graphic novel was released that included DVDs for the first and second parts of the Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations OVA. I would really love to get these since I'm not sure if they will ever be released in the States and hoped you might have a suggestion for a site to order them on. I really hope you don't mind me asking!!

Another Kristen Britain fan! She rocks! What did you think of High King's Tomb? I swear, if she takes another 4-5 years to write the next one, I'll be taking a trip to Minnesota to strangle her. I love to find people who enjoy my favorite books as much as I do, and are into books so much that they'd use this marvelous site.

No problem, and thanks for your help. While the complete works may not be identical, at least they fall under Tim’s combining guidelines. I did not want my complete tales combined with selected tales, but was to lazy to do the required separating and recombining.

As for tagging, I have already numerous books differently by mistake. I usually try to double check (just another reason by book entry is going slowly), but I have still missed some. I am trying to keep my tags broad in scope as so I can find all similar books easily. That is why I decided to use a one tag, Fables-Legends-Myths-Tales, instead of four separate tags. It also makes it much easier for me to tag the books! :-)

Besides the Folio Society, I tag several other small publishers that I own a number of books from (i.e., McFarland, NESFA Press) so I can easily see if I own a book from them before buying it. I have already bought two duplicates from McFarland in the past because I did not remember buying the books previously. You may be interested in joining the Folio Society devotees group. Not a lot of activity, but I have found it worthwhile.

I have combined The Complete Fairy Tales of Charles Perrault with Perrault's Fairy Tales. I almost added it using the title on the cover, but then I double-checked on title page. I really wish publishers would not use a one title on the cover and another on the title page.

There was no need for you to separate out The Complete Tales of Hans Christian Andersen. I was the one who originally separated them for the rest and wrote the disambiguation notice to keep my complete edition separate from the rest (I have the Folio Society’s 2 volume edition). Since you separated the complete works from the rest I have no problem with it begin combined with the other complete (or nearly complete) works. I have recombined it. Hmmm, I was also unable to edit the disambiguation notice before; I was able to just now. Please take a look at it and change it if needed.

You mentioned the Folio Society so I looked to see what FS books you have in your library. I first looked at your tags to see if you had a Folio Society tag and did not see one, but I did notice you had a Folk Tales (1) tag and a Folktales (71) tag, as well as a Folklore (5) tag. I know I have accidentally created multiple similar tags and thought I would let you know in case you did not do it on purpose.

Back to your Folio Society books, I see that you have Perrault's Fairy Tales. I also have it, but I entered it using the title on the title page, The Complete Fairy Tales of Charles Perrault. There are FS editions under both titles and from the other book covers it appears that they are the same. Do you agree that they should be combined?

I also see you have the FS edition of the Greek Myths. Is there a reason you did not list Robert Graves as the author? It seems that these are considered his versions of the myths. If you make him the author then your work will combine with the rest, or it can be combined manually if you do not want to make him the author of your book.

I see that you combined all the books by Hans Christen Andersen that have complete in their tile. I wish to thank you for your time and effort separating out those books from the rest of the fairy tales books and combining them together. I admit I was not willing to spend the time to do so myself, so I only separated the book I own from the rest. You may want to modify the disambiguation notice to accurately reflect the work you have done.

I noticed that you combined a few books that have volume I or volume II as part of the title. Did you intend to combine them? I am of the opinion that individual volumes of a work should not be combined with the complete work, but I know that there is disagreement on the issue.

kristen Britain is certainly way up there on my favorite authors. I just wish that she wrote full-time so we readers could enjoy more of her work. ...I've been waiting for High King's Tomb to come out for more than three years now; I just know it will be good.

You have over 1000 graphic novels, and I've over 1300, but we only have 37 books in common! That's mostly the Gaiman stuff, What's Michael?, Bone, a couple Big Books, and all the Fables stuff.
