Om mig I am a sales guy at a large research firm. I have recently rolled the bookdomitor over to +700, and am excited to be in the hunt for 1000. I am not sure where I am going to find the space to store them all...

Om mit bibliotek I did a major in political science, and got minors in both Religion and History. This shows rather clearly on my bookshelf. I also have an abiding love of science fiction and fantasy...

Thank you for the welcome! :)
Oh, I've got with the Scheiner book for a comparative politics grad seminar at UCLA that I ended up having to drop...still haven't read it.
I enjoyed Prep. Kind of a modern Catcher In the Rye type of feel to it. I liked that the main character stayed "real" and didn't suddenly become beautiful or improved in the end.

I didn't even realize there were Dummies guides for subjects such as the Middle East. I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hi. You have some interesting-looking history books. I am wanting to educate myself on the history of the Middle East--any recommendations? Perhaps something not too lengthy, fairly easy to read, but still accurate and thorough?

Great Lego man, by the way!
not nearly enough... 30, maybe... i'm depressed now. i have no books.
I LOVE the Lego!

Good background for your 18th Cent. naval stuff is "The Wooden World," by Rodgers...I'll loan it to you if you are interested.
My nick is actually the name of a female gryphon in "The Black Gryphon" by Mercedes Lackey. There are a few people out there using it that I know of. (I should probably think about changing it with 12 years now of use.)
Nope - no affiliation with Draggin' Bytes. Sounds interesting, though!
I wish my school mandated Thursday Next! Actually, that tag just means that the book is at school, rather than at home.
