I finished The Symposium, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've never read Plato until this year. Can you imagine it? Each time I read a dialogue, I find myself engrossed in thought. Unfortunately, I can't think of which type of love I liked best, because all I can think is that the Greeks think I'm only capable of physical love, not spiritual! Once I get over that, I'll look again at the types of love so I can better answer your question. Which did you respond to?
Great name - I love it!
Just realised - that'll be because I should have been looking up 'skepsis'. Okay, I've got it - that name means you are doubtful as to whether you have a belly button! Am I right?
I'm fascinated by your LT name - please come and take a look at new thread in 'What are you Reading now?' entitled 'Where did your LT name come from?' It sounds decidedly Greek to me. Isn't Omphalos the naval? I looked up 'kepsis' in my Greek/English dictionary but couldn't find anything.
