Thanks for the comment, sorry it took so long to get back to you. Haven't check LibraryThing in a while! ;-)
In case you're curious, the kind and wonderful gentleman behind AfterElton.com site interviewed me about Vintage...

Steve
Thank you for the very kind words about Vintage. I'm very flattered and, of course, thrilled to know you enjoyed the book. There are a few queer YA speculative fiction novels out there. You may want to pick up Holly Black's Ironside. Also, So Fey: Queer Fairy Fiction, a book of GLBT-themed fantasy stories I edited, just released.

Right now I should be working on a new novel but have had difficulty doing so. Just short stories of late, including a new one, "Bittersweet" at Endicott-Studio's Journal of Mythic Arts.

Again, thank you for praise, which I am unsure I truly deserve.
Hi Octobercountry

Must ask you - how did you enjoy the Wee Free Men. I've read that one and the next, Hatful of Sky and am looking forward to Wintersmith.

You are right, we have 'met' before on the Abe forum. Thanks for the positive comment about my reviews. I've got thousands more books to enter, but I thought if I didn't add a few reviews to remind myself what some of the early ones were about, I might have to stop adding books and re-read them. I'm using LibraryThing as an aide-memoire, among other things - it's so versatile. I'm enjoying your catalogue for the breadth of the entries! You keep reminding me of books I've read, books I've enjoyed, books I ought to enter (CLICK +!), and books I'd like to look for.
Thanks so much for your reply! Poor Tom's Ghost is on my list to read soon. You have many more books that I have read but don't own. I'm glad to see the Corbett books like the Lemonade Trick. How about "Ever Ride a Dinosaur"?

I photographed and uploaded some additional covers in my catalog, many of them are books we share. Please help yourself to the cover images if you care to. See you around.
You and I are about the only ones here with several of these books. I'm glad to know someone else enjoys Jane Louise Curry and also went to the trouble to find Harding's Luck by Edith Nesbit. Did you also read The House of Arden?
Hi Frederick -
Thanks very much for the information on the Night Before Christmas. Certainly sounds like a convincing case!
Maggie
Hello octobercountry - I read with interest your review of The Visit, the fictionalized story of the origin of The Night Before Christmas. I wasn't aware that it had been proven that Moore did not write the poem. Could you please tell me where I can find this information? Thanks!
Maggie
