Thank you VERY much for the books. I am delighted. If you tell me some titles that you particularly want, I can watch out for them and return the favour.
ALso, I visited Kiama last school holidays for some anti-stress time alone. Twas very nice.

How kind of you to offer your duplicate of New York Stories! Yes, I would love to have it--thank you so much.
I only started collecting VMCs last October, but The Hearing Trumpet has been near the top of my list since. I now have over 250 titles, but I find that I'm getting down to those that are much harder to find. I keep hoping that one of the swap sites will eventually come up with a copy. That's how I finally got The Skin Chair last week--the last Comyns I needed for my collection.

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't read 'I'm Not Complaining', but it's on my wishlist now!
History through Monuments sounds fascinating.
My interests are 'deviant' women. My masters dissertation looked at moral panics about in the 1920s English press, focusing on reactions to women who had relationships with foreign men and young women who took drugs and went to nightclubs. Needless to say these women were considered mad, bad and dangerous to know!

New York Mosaic arrived in Penzance today. Thank you so much for sending such a lovely book so far and so swiftly.
I was living in London when it was published and spent a lot of my free time in big bookshops, so I can only assume it had a quiet release and a short time back in print.
I hope I will be able to send you a book one day. If there is anything you are particularly looking for, do let me know so I can look out for it.
Thank you again,
Jane
