Looking at your list, I feel as if I know you! I just discovered this site and am now obsessed with it. Thanks for the peek into the library of a kindred (I think) black lit PhD with a broad range of reading interests.

It's a combined family library. About a third of the books belong to my husbnd The Mathematician, and no, I haven't read his collection on advanced math, computer science, sailing or mountaineering. The fiction, kid lit, art books and history stuff is mine, and apart from the reference works, I have read almost all of it. Usually I'm about five books or so behind, my tbr pile. The only wish-list type thing is, I use our catalog to keep track of illustrators whose work I collect. Books tagged 'searching' are the ones missing from my collection that I'm actively pursuing. And some portion of the books are my daughter's. She's seventeen, and threatening to get her own account, in which case we'd have a big range war about who owns what.

Welcome to the ranks of the Thingamabrarians. I'm hoping more writers will get on board. Especially once the forum is up and running, this will be a good place to talk about books.
