Thanks for the messag -- it's very good to see you here too!
Thanks for joining the Fans of Alice Hoffman group!
I just finished reading The River King and saw that it was in your library as well. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on it and other Hoffman books you've read.
Hello leen and/or nadine (I'm hope I'm correct that there are two of you),

Sorry for the delay in responding (work obligations, doggone it:)

Well, you're flattered...and I'm jealous. Yep, no other word to describe it; unless it's envious. Well, why split hairs, either word will do. You see, I thought I was doing pretty well in the signed first area but then I stumbled upon your library and found many things I covet, both signed and unsigned (and I haven't even looked at everything yet!). For the last year or more I've been searching LT for people using the tag "signed," which incorporated a lot of variations, including "autographed." However, that search doesn't show your tag "signed 1sts," so I was shocked to discover your splendid collection. Where do you guys live (in a vague geographical/metropolitan area sort of way, if you're willing to reveal that) that you have access to all these authors?? Or do you order from book dealers through the internet? I'm always on the lookout for trustworthy booksellers if you've got any to recommend.

Anyway, we seem to share similar reading tastes, so please hit me with any recommendations you have and I'll try to do the same for you once I've examined the list of our shared books (and your library) a bit more. Thanks for the heads up on the Subterranean Press Campbell book, I'll give it a look. I'm already trying to resist the Naomi Novik edition(s), so Campbell may have to wait it's turn:)

Take it easy,

bookstothesky
