Just stopping by to say thanks gor entering my giveaway and god luck. Loved your review of Sorority Sisters. It was one of those books that I wanted to read and never got around to picking it up.

I was a history (and psychology) major undergrad, and just can't get enough. The only reason my library isn't more mixed is most of my history books are downstairs. I focused on 20th century history, and had a particular fascination with this time period, even though it was very recent history when I was in school. When I was in law school - at the time women were 1/4 0r 1/3 of the classes - a friend showed me some old class photos of our school (University of Michigan); it was pretty astonishing how very few women there were in classes not too long before ours (1984). It was really an "aha" moment for me, and so one I keep going back to. Definitely part of the inspiration for TWS.
If you do blog about it, I would love to link from my website.
Where are you on the west coast? I'm in Palo Alto, and I lived for quite a few years in L.A. And what area of history do you teach?

I’m a belgian university student that loves chick-lit. Would you like to help me with my thesis and write to me why you (personally) like reading chick-lit? What is it about chick-lit that appeals to you? What are your favourite books and why? Your help would mean a lot to me!
Best wishes,
