Om mig I am a college student in lit and psychology. I love to read and write. I'm happy to hear suggestions for something new to read. I love everything from classic, canonical literature to series fiction. I think there is value in each, for writers, readers, and students. I think I'm a better writer for being a reader.

Om mit bibliotek This is primarily a list of all the books I have read. I have one section tagged as books I want to read, one one section tagged as own-must read. I am a college student and avid reader. I am trying to slowly catalogue all the books I have read. Catch-up should keep my busy, and I am reading more all the time. I always read a book all the way through, and if I don't think I can finish a book for some reason, I put it aside for later rather than skimming. My favorite books are children's and young adult literature, fiction about families, and books about, well, books. My favorite authors are Margaret Atwood, Kurt Vonnegut, E.L. Konigsberg, Roald Dahl, Kate Atkinson.

Hello,

I'm also a college student in literature and psychology. I noticed that you said you enjoy fiction about families, and I see that you have As I Lay Dying in your library...I think you might enjoy The Cape & Other Stories, by Kenji Nakagami. The main bulk of the book consists of two long short stories which center around the same man and his (large, dysfunctional, and fragmented) family, spanning his mother's two marriages and one torrid affair. Also - on the psychological side of things - I would recommend Pathways to Madness, a collection of family case studies by Jules Henry. It's a bit dated (and out of print, but readily available 'used' on Amazon) but rich in stunning portraiture and, of course, pathology.

I hope these recs sounded interesting, & I'd love any recommendations you might have for me.

Sorry to comment again so soon, but I am also trying to catalog all the books that I have read and I am finding that it to be a lot harder than I expected. How are you doing it? I would appreciate any tips :)
Hi, It looks like you own a couple of the Forever Angels books as well...the two books that were my favorites. I used to have those two as well...but I lost them and am now trying to buy them b/c I was absolutely in love with them when I was younger. Also, I noticed that you are a Psych and lit major...I recently graduated from college with a psych major (and a bio major) as well and I would have loved to have majored in English as well because I love books! Alas, I could only fit 2 onto my plate. Anyways, I look forward to browsing your library!
