Hey I just finished The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society last week and I loved it, couldn't put it down, got so into it. A shame the author passed away before it was published. Would have been interested in reading other books by her as well. Thanks for the suggestion!
Another Nazi related book, memoirs of Hitler's secretary, good to get a different point of view - I just added it to my books.... In the final hour....
Hi Kats,

Im reading another Jewish / Nazi period type book called The true story of Hansel and Gretel -its fiction, but based probably on true events. Started it last night and have been reading it this arvo, sure to finish it tonight.
Hey,

Charles McCarry is the author I was talking to you about on Friday at drinks. There are a few books of his on Library Thing you can search. I've only read 2. I really enjoyed Christopher's Ghosts, but the one I've just read, Miernik Dossier was the 1st in the series and introduces the main character really well - couldn't put it down!!!!
Yes I have read it and really enjoyed it!
