Unfortunately, separating is a lot harder and more time-consuming than combining -- each "work" (title, basically) consists of dozens of editions, and when two "works" are combined that shouldn't be, each one has to be separated out individually! A bunch of people on the Combiners group all pitched in and separated out the Zelazny books, so it's already been fixed in this case. In the future, you can separate works the same way you combine them (just more slowly, because it has to be done one edition at a time rather than being able to do a lot of works all at once); either click on the "combine/separate works" link on the author page, and instead of checking boxes and then "combine", click on the "separate" link for the mismatched book. You can do the same from the "editions" page for an individual book.
Thank you for being so understanding! (By the way, you know you can mark an author as "favorite" from the author page, right? On the left side, the third green box down says "favorites", and lists people who have marked that author as a favorite -- at the bottom is a link that says "add this author as a favorite".)
