Om mig Originally, I was heavily into linguistics and language, but three years at University and having to absorb the whole Chomskian dogma jaded me totally. Whilst despairing at uni, I found that I had an intense passion for evolutionary theory and this has led to my interest in memes, culture, proto-culture, human evolution, language origins, and most anything to do with the theory of evolving systems.
I make regular contributions to the newsgroup alt.memetics, but it has very few people there these days. I campaign whenever possible for the realistic image of memes, not the "Yo, dude, my memes can, like, totally kick your memes' asses!" type of crap that has developed around this buzzword. MEMES ARE NOT LIKE POKÉMON THAT FIGHT IN YOUR BRAIN AND TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR MIND! I also try to dissuade people about the "Mind Virus" view of memes, as well. That's just one subset of memes, not the whole picture.

Om mit bibliotek It's full of books, mainly, that I've collected and read over the past 6 years. Prior to about 2000 I didn't buy or keep too many books. Now I'm trying to make amends for that small oversight.
