I've only discovered librarything today and was fascinated to discover that eight books in my rather random library are also in yours!
It's a combination of English, French, Italian, and German madrigals. Here's the description on the group's website: http://www.kingssingers.com/recordings/r...
Thanks for the welcome, Jane. I listen to early music while I'm writing or sleeping. When I lived in New York I went to concerts at the Cloisters, but since moving to L.A. it's become a purely iPod experience. Lately I've been listening to Navan, an a capella trio that sings Celtic folk music. Check 'em out: http://www.navan.org/index.html. I've also been obsessed with the King's Singers' album Madrigal History Tour for the past year.
We do not share too many books, but we certainly have some similar interests!
"Talking About Music", now THERE was a program!

Good to have you on board Jane - would you mind if I posted your message on the group page and I can then reply to it there?
