I live in Seattle, WA USA with my teen-age son, two pugs, one gray cat and a fat mouse with half a tail. Pictured are my two pugs, Padme and Satchemo-Yogi, who were curled around me as I was reading P.D. James! I love all books and read just about anything but my heart, and my writing, seems to lie with children's and young reader's books AND spiritually-based books where I can continue to seek Spirit in myself and others and the world around me.

My library is a collection I have carried around with me and built up over all of my life. There are a lot of children's/young reader's books because they were mine when I was young. I also inherited my Grandmother's books and some of my Mother's when they both passed on.

Like a beloved pet, I can't bear to part with a treasured book. I have come to the conclusion, due to my last move in 2000, that I have more books than furniture. About 2 years ago I started to actively collect autographed first editions. I have a lot of books, so listing them is going to take some time. Happy Browsing!
