Om mig I read a lot in Japanese for practice and some in Spanish just for the hell of it. I'm studying Russian... sort of.

Om mit bibliotek I buy a lot of used manga, both things I'm interested in and things that are famous and cheap. My current favorite manga topics are the Heian period and detective fiction. I don't generally have my books listed for swaps, but I'm open to suggestions if you have something you think I'd be interested in.

The books listed here are all things I have kicking around my apartment. There are no guarantees that I've read all of them or that I thought they were good.

Franzeska! I have never taken a moment to thank you for my Xmas graphic novel! It is awesome, and my daughter Aretha, who is a huge huge graphic novel fan (she is 17) just ate it up too. In fact, I think she's stolen it from me.

I'm so glad you liked my present, too! It was really fun. I hope they do it again next year.
Thanks for your recommendations which look very interesting. I think Santa might be taking a detour to the east on his way to me this year (if I've been good)!
Ah, I see. I look forward to seeing some more appear in your library.

Can you recommend anything to get me started on things Japanese which an English speaker might enjoy? I love Japanese art and poetry (floating world style) but don't know much about it really, although I really enjoyed visiting Japan (just once, unfortunately).
I was interested to see that you think I have an interesting library although we only share one book in common. Is it the attraction of complete opposites?
Hi! Thanks for adding me too your interesting libraries. In your profile it says you like reading manga in the Heian period - do you have any suggestions of titles? I've never looked into it, but I absolutely adore the Heian period and would love to find some manga related to it. All I have now is a rather racily drawn interpretation of the early bits of Genji Monogatari... ;D

Thanks again.
Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries list--you've got a great collection too.
