Om mig I'm a writer of fiction and poetry. Among other themes, I write about women, about identity, about place, and about work; I write about lovers and mothers and brothers and bosses. I'm the author of the novels, The Second Elizabeth (Six Gallery Press, forthcoming/2008) and i, scorpion (Words Like Kudzu Press, 2000); of the illustrated novella (under a psuedonym), Magenta's Adventures Underground (WLK, 2004); and of the chapbooks, Tough Broads and Classy Dames (monologues) and Virginia is for Lovers (poems).

My writing has been published in journals such as anderbo.com, Arabesques Review, Keyhole Magazine, Long Shot, New York Nights, nthposition.com, and Pulse Berlin, among others. My work will be included in the forthcoming book, Wreckage of Reason: An Anthology of Contemporary XXperimental Prose by Women Writers (Spuyten Duyvil, June 2008).

I founded Words Like Kudzu Press in 2000; in 2001, the press spawned a journal, Venus in the Mirror. The journal featured over twenty women writers in two issues, and I am now working on placing the journal in zine libraries and other small press archives.

Om mit bibliotek My library is largely the books that have inspired and influenced me--my favorite books. It consists mostly of things I've read, some of which I still own, and some books I would like to read. The latter includes some books with which I feel a kinship even though I haven't read them yet. (I handled them, I read bits and pieces, I was inspired by their themes or scope, I applauded their publication.)
