If you're interested in stories about adopting babies from China, "The Exact same Moon" by Jeanne Marie Laskas is good. "Leave me alone, I'm reading" by Maureen Corrigan has a chapter about adopting her baby from China.
I had a daughter, at one time she had thought about a China baby adoption. She was a RN, had a BSN from U. Washington. She lived in Seattle. She had her own house & liked to read. She never married, which she felt bad about. I wish she had adopted a Chinese baby.
