Well, it's been a long time since I wrote Farrar Strauss about using a Walker Percy photo copyrighted to them. No surprise really that I've not heard anything from them.

Do you have any idea where else I can look for a good photo of Percy for the I See Dead People's Books group? I can't imagine finding something in print or online that isn't copyrighted.
Ok, so I am reading this Prawst guy, and was just wondering when something would actually HAPPEN?

(Just jerking your chain.)
Did you read it in French or English? How hard is the French?
Go ahead and tug it, but I may untie it, if it is that good.
You don't have to remain forever silent, by way.

So I started Swann's Way last night. I can tell it will be a long, slow read. I have to put the book down about every five minutes, usually to savor what he just wrote. Like reading Dostoyevsky. Except he (the Russian) works better in larger chunks....but the effect is the same.
Funny thing, I just pulled out my volume of Swans' Way this weekend, thinking I should read some French Lit.
Thank you so much for your response. I'm feeling poorly at the moment so I'll respond further later, but I wanted you to know that I appreciate your taking the time.
